Daffodil Topolino and Anemone Blanda have been awarded the RHS Award of Garden Merit because they have proved to be reliable in appropriate conditions and are good performing plants.

Place bulbs in layers, planting daffodil bulbs 10cm deep and anemone bulbs 5 cm deep.
Place 1 bulb (with pointy end facing upwards) in each hole and cover with excess compost.
Leave the tip of the bulb uncovered for best results.
Water well and move to a cool location (do not over water).
Spring flowering bulbs must be planted and kept in a cool place (below 10˚C) for 10 - 12 weeks.
After cooling period the planter can be moved to a warmer location with good sunlight.
Water little and often, do not let compost dry out at any point.

Plant: 5cm deep and 10cm apart.
Allow flowers to bloom and die back naturally, then cut back to stem to prevent the plat spending energy on feeding the spent flower.
Keep any foliage to encourage nutrients to continue to feed the bulb for next years blooms.
Spring bulbs planted outdoors can be left in the ground to bloom year after year.
Potted bulbs can be stored to be planted up again in winter.
Allow foliage to die back naturally, approximately 6 weeks after the blooms have passed. Cut back any excess foliage and dry out bulbs on sheets of newspaper for 24 - 48 hours.
Only keep healthy, mold free bulbs, store in paper bags or nets in a cool, dry place until you are ready to replant from September.
